Pilates is a total body workout that incorporates the deepest muscles of your core to improve posture, increase strength and flexibility, and create balance and alignment in the body.  It has been proven to reduce back and joint pain, enhance sports performance and prevent injuries.

La Vie Pilates offers private lessons and duets in our fully equipped home studio.

  • Many people come in with general low back pain.  We focus on not just core but appropriate stretching and posture which proves very successful in allowing them to live pain free as they go about their daily lives.

  • Functional movement through Pilates has helped clients do simple things without pain such as picking up grand kids and working in the garden.  Focus on balance had one client walk the Acropolis on vacation without fear of falling.  These might seem like small things, but in life they are everything.

  • Some of our clients with osteoporosis have increased their bone density over time. While that isn’t possible for everyone we continue to build strength and balance while improving postural alignment.

  • Our clients who do the advanced Pilates work know our focus is to break down and build up the exercises in a way that is unique to their bodies so that they get the most out of each exercise.  This allows them to work through the full system of exercises with complete control.
